When was GreaterGood.org formed?

GreaterGood.org received its nonprofit 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service in September 2007 making its nonprofit status retroactive to its filing date March 2006.

What is your relationship with CharityUSA.com and the GreaterGood Network?

GreaterGood.org distributes funds generated through the GreaterGood Network of websites, owned and operated by CharityUSA.com, LLC, to the many charitable organizations responsible for implementing programs named on these sites. The click-to-give websites include: The Animal Rescue Site, The Breast Cancer Site, The Child Health Site, The Hunger Site, The Literacy Site and The Rainforest Site. Each click-to-give website has a storefront in the GreaterGood Network stores.

Where does the funding come from?

100% of the funds generated for charity through the GreaterGood Network pass through GreaterGood.org to our partner nonprofits in the form of grants. Approximately two thirds of the funds are generated by the GreaterGood Network family of websites by visitors' actions and paid as a royalty to GreaterGood.org; royalties are generated through ad fees and purchases in the stores. Approximately one third of the funds are from donations made directly to GreaterGood.org from individuals and corporations.

If I make a donation or purchase a 100% tax-deductible Gift That Gives More™ will I receive a receipt for my taxes?

Yes. All donors who supply us with a valid e-mail address or mailing address will receive a receipt of their donation in the mail or via e-mail for tax purposes.

Does GreaterGood.org accept donations of goods or services?

No. GreaterGood.org is not able to receive goods or services, only monetary contributions.
