Tents for Haiti - From $10
After the world collapses in on you, where do you go? Where do you sleep?
An estimated one million Haitians were made homeless by the devastating earthquake. With so many buildings structurally unsafe, people are sleeping on the ground in the open air. Tents are desperately needed as Haiti begins the slow and painful process of rebuilding.
The nonprofit Partners in Health has located a surplus of name-brand, sturdy, family-size tents that could provide much-needed shelter for thousands of people. Together with lightweight sleeping bags, sleeping sheets, and sleeping pads, these tents will make all the difference for a Haitian family that has lost everything.
The tents themselves are 4- and 6-person models with extra ventilation, huge mesh panels, large interior space, 2 doors, a storage nook, aluminum frame, waterproof floor seams, and many other features. Designed for camping, the tents will be appreciated by people who are sleeping outside not by choice, but by tragic necessity.
You can help Partners in Health reach its goal of providing shelter to as many people as possible. Purchase of this Gift That Gives More™ funds tents and permanent or semi-permanent housing for victims of the earthquake in Haiti.
